KUDA Master Plan 2041: A Comprehensive Statutory Plan for Sustainable Development
The KUDA Master Plan 2041 is a comprehensive statutory plan developed by the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) for the Kakatiya (Warangal) Development Area in Telangana, India. With a vision to transform Warangal into the second major economic hub of the state, the government of Telangana has implemented various development activities sinceThe Master Plan aims to achieve sustainable development of the 1805 sq.km area by the year 2041.
The Master Plan includes a range of economic and infrastructure development initiatives, such as the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park, 4-laning of NH 163, IT SEZ Madikonda, Warangal Outer Ring Road (ORR), Leather Park, Hyderabad-Warangal Economic Corridor, Sainik School, and International Sports Complex. It also incorporates three Government of India programs - HRIDAY, AMRUT, and Smart City. The plan has been prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Telangana Urban Areas (Development) Act 1975 and aims to create a sustainable and prosperous future for the Warangal Development Area.
